Wellness Pharmacy Cardiff is a new pharmacy in the heart of St Mellons that opened in July 2024. We are owned and run by a team of highly experienced, local pharmacists dedicated to serving our community with the highest standards of care. Our NHS services
Our pharmacy provides a wide range of free NHS services. This includes dispensing medicines, stop-smoking services, needle exchange, sore throat swabs and treatment, Cardiff flu jabs and more. Free minor ailment clinic
Our experienced prescribing pharmacists in Cardiff can diagnose, prescribe, and supply treatments for free via the NHS. If you’re feeling under the weather and unsure whether to see a doctor, our Minor Ailments Clinic provides expert advice and treatment for common conditions. For example, we diagnose and treat ear infections, tonsillitis, chest infections, skin infections, conjunctivitis, rosacea and more.
We also provide treatment for threadworms, headlice, constipation, acne, dry eyes, dry skin, scabies and vaginal thrush. You can visit our booking page or call us to see the full range of conditions that we can treat for free.
We have two dedicated and experienced pharmacists who take appointments Monday to Friday for the above conditions. We understand that it can be difficult to get a GP appointment due to the burden on local GPs. We hope that by offering our services we can help our patients get the right treatments quickly and free up appointments for our local GP surgeries. If our pharmacists feel you are very unwell and need to be urgently referred, they can refer you to your GP, an out of hours GP in Cardiff, or A&E.

Are you a 24 hour pharmacy in Cardiff?
Unfortunately, we are not a 24-hour pharmacy or an out of hours pharmacy in Cardiff. We are open 9am – 5:30pm Monday to Friday. There are currently no pharmacies in Cardiff that are open 24 hours. There are some late night pharmacies in Cardiff open until 8pm on weekdays and Saturdays – these are usually supermarket pharmacies. Do you provide ear wax removal in Canton Cardiff?
We are based in the St Mellons area of Cardiff, a short distance from Canton and Cardiff city centre. Not only do we provide microsuction to local patients across Cardiff but also patients from all over South Wales visit our ear wax removal clinic.
